PDF (Adobe Acrobat) Help

The GlobalEd WWW site has a wide range of publications about the Australian overseas aid program. Some of these publications are presented as HTML and others, with a more detailed format are presented as PDF files.

PDF files are ones where the content layout created by the author will always be represented exactly as the author intended. The PDF format is a proprietary one created by Adobe, and these files are identified by their name - "filename.PDF".

For the PDF formatted publications, you will need the Adobe Acrobat Viewer installed on your browser. This is available from Adobe's Home Page.

Click on the following icon and a separate Web browser window will open with Adobe's home page presented to you. Follow Adobe's instructions to install the viewer. The files on the GlobalEd WWW site are optimised for Adobe Acrobat ver 2.11 or later. If you don't have this version (or later) download it now, or see your IT section or service provider.
