Description: |
This 64 page book presents information about biodiversity

It is densely packed with information about the way the people of
the Mekong interact with their environment, starting with
general information and then discussing specific issues and
approaches in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. Some of these topics
include deforestation, pollution, urbanisation, agriculture, land
mines, hydropower, watershed management and protected areas. A
detailed case study is featured on each of the above countries.
The book contains many maps, illustrations and tables.
Two workshops are available to help teachers adapt the book to
classroom objectives. Contact John H Smith for workshop
