Advisory guidelines are provided for the Australian European University Fellowships Association. AEUIFA is a consortiom of universities interested in linking with the European University Institute. There are two categories of Fellowship tenable at the EUI for up to nine months: Postdoctoral scholars and academic staff from Australian universities; Postgraduates from any Australian university.

A special feature of the ANU Canberra School of Art is its International Exchange Network. Through this network students have the opportunity to study at University Schools of Art and Design in Asia, Europe and North America. The Canberra School of Art encourages student exchange in the belief that it provides special opportunities and experience for the individual. The presence of exchange students also enriches campus life and thus benefits the whole student population. To assist these goals, exchange arrangements may be agreed between CSA and comparable institutions.
