URL:http://ida.org.au/content.php?p=dpprelease
Category:Education reports

The Australia Deliberates: Muslims and Non-Muslims project took a randomly selected microcosm of the Australian population and undertook a Deliberative Poll focussed on the various aspects of the cultural, social and political differences in Australia, including what it means to be Australian, how Muslim and Non-Muslim peoples within Australia might harmoniously live together, and the role of the Government in facilitating racial and cultural harmony. The informed voice of this microcosm of the Australian population could then inform Government policy on any future changes to policy on immigration, education, employment and multiculturalism. The final report is available to download in sections.
