This report by Statistics New Zealand and New Zealand Department of Labour observes that in the last few years workplace-based training has grown at a faster rate than other forms of tertiary education and training. There is an examination of the employment and earnings patterns of learners before, during and after training, and compare these with the earnings patterns of those non-learners with equivalent demographic and employment history.
