The Global Education Internet site is presented by the Commonwealth for the purpose of disseminating information free of charge for the benefit of school communities and the public.

 AusAID

The Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), manages the Australian Government's official overseas aid program.

The objective of the program is to advances Australia's national interest by helping developing countries reduce poverty and achieve sustainable development.

AusAID provides policy advice and support to the Minister and Parliamentary Secretary on development issues and develops and manages effective and innovative poverty reduction programs in partnership with developing countries, Australian businesses, non-government organisations and international agencies.

AusAID is an administratively autonomous agency within the Foreign Affairs and Trade Portfolio. AusAID reports directly to the Minister for Foreign Affairs on all aspects of aid policy and operations.
