 Landmines

AusAID have produced a series of three posters to show how their programs are addressing the effects of landmines.The posters illustrate how landmine survivors in Cambodia are rebuilding their lives. A little girl learns to use her new prosthetic leg, young men play volley ball and a man is able to tend his garden and travel to market to sell his vegetables.

 Millennium Development Goals posters

MDG posters
AusAID have created these three posters to profile the importance of addressing poverty by achieving the Millennium Development Goals by 2015. There is a clear statement of each goal with its targets, a Nauruan classroom to profile the importance of achieving universal primary education (Goal 2) and a Malawian mother and child to focus on reducing child mortality (Goal 4) and improving maternal health (Goal5).

AusAID have produced the four Peace creates… posters to highlight the importance of peace for daily life. Income generation for HIV/AIDS orphans in Rwanda helps create strong healthy communities. Access to water in Indonesia creates bright futures. A productive garden creates a chance to grow and education creates inquiring minds in Laos PDR.

Water posters
AusAID have produced this set of four posters showing how water affects our daily lives. The posters look at water and the environment, water and agriculture, water and work, and water and health. The images include a short description of how access to clean water is essential in relation to each of these themes. The images are from Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and Vietnam. The posters are a simple, colourful and informative resource for the classroom.
