The UNESCO Water Portal?s objective is to improve access to information on freshwater on the web.
The site serves as a thematic entry point to the current UNESCO and UNESCO-led programmes on freshwater. It also provides a platform for sharing and browsing websites of other water-related organizations, government bodies and NGOs through the water links and events databases.
You can get involved by providing information on activities, useful links, news and content.

AusAID have produced this set of four posters showing how water affects our daily lives. The posters look at water and the environment, water and agriculture, water and work, and water and health. The images include a short description of how access to clean water is essential in relation to each of these themes. The images are from Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and Vietnam. The posters are a simple, colourful and informative resource for the classroom.
