UNESCO 's water portal coordinates and provides database access and worldwide information on freshwater, including scientific policies, programmes, water forums, events, photos and useful links. WaterAid Australia URL:  http://www.wateraid.org/australia/ WaterAid is an NGO which enables the world's poorest people to gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education. Its Learn Zone provides a wealth of materials: information sheets, videos and online awareness raising games. The game 'Pani the handpump' allows players to help people in Nepal, Ghana and Ethiopia to build a clean water supply; 'Who want to raise a million' is a quiz on water and sanitation and 'Water family' looks at how much water a family uses and how you can help them to cut down.
