Global Education Project

The Global Education Project offers professional development to teachers and university students to assist them in teaching about global and development issues and perspectives, as well as understanding Australia's global responsibilities.
Workshops and conferences include demonstration of:

  • technology (such as GIS, websites, webquests, PowerPoint, web page and multimedia presentations and analysis of websites)
  • a diversity of resources to provide a variety of perspectives, avoiding bias and stereotyping
  • student centred teaching/learning strategies
  • a variety of strategies for including a global perspective in the curriculum
