Rights profiling

Year level: Middle primary

Learning outcome

Students will develop an understanding of human rights through designing a calendar of activities for observing the international days associated with the protection of human rights.

Use the calendar and links on http://www.unac.org/en/news_events/un_days/international_days.asp.

Create a drawing or photo collection to represent your chosen day.

List an activity that your class could do to mark this day.

Find out about someone who has done something special to influence the way the world respects this human right.

Assessment task

Write a statement about how you could assist others to respect this right better.
