Presenting findings

Year level: Middle primary/Upper primary/Lower secondary

Learning outcome

Students learn about other countries to compare lifestyles with their own and appreciate the similarities and differences.

How can we share our findings with others?

Create a display – slide show, models, drama, DVD, showing one/some of the following:

  • What might it be like to live there?
  • Outline the daily life of a ‘typical' person – how do you experience basic needs (water, food, schooling, use of technology, health care
  • What are the similarities and differences between the country and Australia ?
  • What are some recent achievements and challenges the country is facing and how are they being addressed?
  • What would it be like to visit to this place?
  • How would you travel? What would you take? How much would it cost? What would you do there?
  • What are the key connections or comparisons between the country and Australia ?
