AusAID
The Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) is an Australian Government agency within the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. AusAID manages the Australian Government's official overseas aid program. The objective of the aid program is to advance Australia's national interest by helping developing countries reduce poverty and achieve sustainable development.

This site has an extensive list of resources for primary and secondary students. At each level there is a list and description of books, videos, places to visit and other resources. Teachers are also informed about availability of the resources. This site also has many lesson plans and resources for primary and secondary students.

The American Forum
The American Forum provides leadership and assistance to schools, state departments of education and colleges and universities, by initiating hundreds of programs and developing educational materials, teacher training seminars and publications to guide and implement these programs. At the curriculum site http://www.globaled.org/curriculum3.html teachers have a large number of curriculum and lesson plans in global education under the topics of Area Studies and Cultures, Global Connections, Global Issues and International Organisations. There are also extensive lesson plans based on China at this site.

This site provides many links to United Nations and non-government organisations.
The World Bank Group
This site includes a number of learning modules on topics such as population growth rate, life expectancy at birth, GNP per capita and access to safe water.
The World Game Institute
A not-for-profit, non-partisan, global research and education organisation based in Philadelphia, PA. It is dedicated to providing the perspective and information needed to solve the critical problems facing global society. Students can join on-line games that include world problems including investigating various strategies such as ‘eliminate starvation and malnutrition’ and ‘provide clean water’ to create a better world situation.
